Culturally Anchored Mental Health & Resilience for Latino/a Families
Sanando Juntos (Healing Together)
Sanando Juntos meets families where they are. By utilizing a Popular Education (Educación Popular) framework, we train community leaders to facilitate safe, non-clinical spaces where parents can process grief, master stress-reduction techniques, and strengthen family bonds without fear or judgment.
Many Latino/a families in Oregon navigate profound stress—including family separation, trauma from immigration enforcement, and acculturative barriers—without access to affordable, culturally responsive mental health care.
